Privacy and content use
This page is the plain-language version of how the notebook handles reader information. No dense legal phrasing, no hidden clauses. If you leave a comment, ask for a study note by email, or save a vocabulary list, here is exactly what is kept, why, and how to have it removed.
When you comment on an entry, the site stores your name, email, and the text you wrote. The email stays private and is never shown next to your comment. If a correction you shared ends up quoted in a later note, it appears anonymously, without your name or handle attached.
If you sign up to receive new notebook entries, your address is used only to send those entries. It is not sold, rented, or handed to anyone else for their own mailing. You can ask to be removed at any time and the address is deleted from the list.
Cookies here do a small job: remembering things like your preferred text size or which entries you already opened, so the notebook does not reset every visit. Basic analytics record page views and device type in aggregate. They are not used to build a profile for advertising.
Photos of real notebooks and handwritten corrections are published only with the permission of the person who wrote them. If you later want an image or a quoted correction taken down, say so and it is removed. Links to books or series are shared as reading suggestions, nothing more.
You can ask to see what is stored about you, have it corrected, receive a copy, or have it deleted. You can also withdraw consent for the email list whenever you want. Requests are handled by the site owner, not passed to a third party.
